Here's today's - not quite as exciting.
First thing this morning Rob and I took TJ for a walk to the park. While we were walking my stomach started to get sore. When we got home I had apple crumble oatmeal for breakfast. (I used soy milk, and half a teaspoon of stevia instead of Splenda brown sugar.) This was quite nice with the apple cooked into the oats, and a crunchy topping.
I followed it up with a choc banana beet smoothie
My stomach started acting up again so I didn't finish all of the smoothie, and didn't want any morning tea or lunch.
By late afternoon I was feeling a bit peckish but just wanted a really light and liquidy snack, so had a Lettuce Be Merry smoothie (the 'after' shot looked like pea soup - the 'before' is much nicer!)
The smoothie didn't sit well in my stomach either.
At dinner time I was hungry but my stomach was still sore. Hmm, what to do? How about a plain ryvita cracker?
How's that for a substantial meal!!!
Found it a bit hard to concentrate on work today with a sore stomach, so looks like I'll be doing some work over Easter weekend. Sigh.
