Thursday

I have been enjoying watching the Shogun mini series on Fox Classics the last few days. I learnt Japanese at high school, and spent three weeks in Japan when I was 15. It's amazing how much of the language I can remember after 20 years!

It was hot and it took me ages to get to sleep last night, then I woke up about 2am, had to go to the bathroom, then couldn't get back to sleep so went into the lounge and read for about an hour. Had a sleep-in this morning and walked at lunchtime instead.

Today's food
M1: orange, kiwi and strawberry smoothie

M2: frittata, half an apple

walk with TJ

M3: open tempeh sandwhich, cabbage

M4: chicken breast, homemade falafels, hummus, veges

M5: choc PB pudding, pear

I will lose 10kg by 31 December

Charlotte, where do you get your sprouted grain bread from? Are you still with Green Line? I found them a little pricey, but am open minded about finding good suppliers. I'm thinking of venturing over to Joe's in Alphington. So wish someone would do the SE suburbs a favour and open a local organics shop like Macro once was. Sigh.

Hi Kate, it's Alpine Spelt and Sprouted Grain bread. I get it from Coles. Yes, I'm still with Green Line. We don't have a car so that's why I use their delivery service. Sometimes I get the tram to an organic shop in Brunswick, or go to the Vic Markets, but with the amount of veg we eat, it's a hassle getting it all home. Good luck with finding a good supplier!
