Eating Strategy

From Precision Nutrition:

'Think about your daily eating strategies. What's working? What's not working?'

'you have to find the strategy that you can stick with, one that helps you manage your calorie intake psychologically, and one that ultimately, brings you results.'

My preferred style of eating has always been to eat more at night and less during the day. This is what I always go back to, especially in winter time. I've decided I'm going to just let myself eat this way, instead of making my body fit a 'standard' diet. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Thats exactly what i'm doing too babe. I figure there is no point eating more in the morning if i'm not hungry. Because even if i do, i still want to eat the same amount at night! Which just means extra calories for the sake of 'rules' and to be honest, eating more at night, or even carbs at night have made no difference to my results. At the end of the day it all comes down to calorie intake!

My thoughts exactly! I often end up eating more at night, so would rather 'spend' my calories there.

Hey Charlotte

I've found it better for me to train at night, as I tend to get more hungry at night too. But when I'm training, I'm busy working out, and then when workout is over, it's time to eat anyway. I'm training days now, and finding it harder because I'm not busy working out.

Hey Kerry, I'm training in the evenings. Training during the day makes it much harder for me at night time too.

Hey Charlotte!
Where is the diet where you can just eat what you want like we were kids again? (not necessarily junk, either, I crave larger portions of good stuff!)

Sometimes I think it was better before I had the knowledge I have now.
Looking forward to see how this works/what happens for you.

Hey Bec, nice to hear from you! I love eating big portions too, especially at night. Am still feeling my way but things seem to be going well so far. I'll keep you posted. Cheers, Charlotte
