Treadmill Workout - Hills

Thought I'd share my favourite treadmill workout. It's a great one if you like hill walking.

Charlotte's Favourite Treadmill Workout
20 min +, medium intensity, long intervals

Walk on the treadmill at a brisk pace (almost hard to maintain). Each minute, increase your incline by 1% until you hit your max (at least 8%). Stay there for 2 min, then decrease by the same increments. Stay on the flat for 2 min and recover. Start again and repeat until you run out of time.

For example:
Start, incline 0
at 1:00, increase incline to 1
at 2:00, increase incline to 2
at 3:00, increase incline to 3
at 4:00, increase incline to 4
at 5:00, increase incline to 5
at 6:00, increase incline to 6
at 7:00, increase incline to 7
at 8:00, increase incline to 8
at 9:00, increase incline to 9
at 10:00, stay at 9
at 11:00, decrease incline to 8
at 12:00, decrease incline to 7
at 13:00, dcrease incline to 6
at 14:00, decrease incline to 5
at 15:00, decrease incline to 4
at 16:00, decrease incline to 3
at 17:00, decrease incline to 2
at 18.00, decrease incline to 1
at 19:00, decrease incline to 0
at 20:00, stay at 0
at 21:00, increase incline to 1 and repeat
