Adding More In - Monday

My sore glands are gone but I'm still feeling quite tired. Today I've been focusing on adding more antioxidants into my diet.

My day started with walk with Rob and TJ, then

Breakfast: oats, lactose-free yoghurt, cinnamon, blackberries

Lunch: salad with romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, sunflower seeds, turkey and ham, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice. Toast with avocado.

Snack: peach, hazelnuts

Snack: peanut butter on oat toast, green tea

Dinner: chicken and asparagus risotto

Snack: 'hot chocolate' (lactose-free milk, cocoa, low GI sugar)

Lemon water throughout the day.

I'm upping my anti oxidants as well Charlotte. On the weekend I discovered purple carrots in my local fruit and veg and have been eating them in my lunch time salad. Anything to combat the effects of increased alcohol intake at this time of year.

Cool! I really should check out my local fruit and veg store more often. Our Woolies doesn't have the biggest range. Cheers, C
