Portion control

Control Your Portions - Above is a great picture that shows you how to estimate portion sizes. If there is one thing that you need to remember it is that any time you order food in a restaurant in America they are going to give you more food than you should eat. (from Naked Nutrition)

Here's what I could decipher of the text:
75g cooked chicken or meat = deck of cards
1 cup cooked rice, pasta or ice cream = tennis ball
30g cheese = 4 dice or 1 domino
medium piece of fruit = baseball
1 tsp butter or margarine = 1 dice
1 small baked potato = computer mouse
average woman's fist = 1 cup
2 Tbsp peanut butter = golf ball
30g chocolate = packet dental floss

That is a really good way of remembering portion sizes... great post Charlotte. In the leadup to last comp I asked Coach if he wanted me to change my diet and because it was clean anyway he said no, just to eat a bit less. Too many people eat way more than they need to and this is a great way of remembering how much you should be eating. Have an awesome day xxx

What a great post. Somtimes our eyes are bigger than our stomachs and this is a good reminder of WHAT we SHOULD be eating in regards to size. :o) xx
